Description
Copper washers seal threaded joints against oil, fuel, water and air. Soft annealed copper crushes slightly as you tighten the bolt. As a result, it fills small marks on both faces and stops leaks. We stock copper washers in metric and imperial sizes at our showroom in Nad Al Hamar, Dubai.
First, measure the bolt diameter for the inside size. Next, measure the seat for the outside size, for example M14 x 20 mm. Also, fit a new washer every time you open the joint, because a used washer has already crushed. Therefore, keep a small stock of common sizes for routine maintenance.
