Description
A GI elbow 45 degree turns a threaded pipe through 45 degrees. It is a galvanised malleable iron fitting with a female thread at each end. As a result, it gives a gentle turn with less pressure loss than a 90° elbow. We stock 45° GI elbows at our showroom in Nad Al Hamar, Dubai.
First, choose the size to match your pipe, for example 1″. Next, wrap the threads with PTFE tape or use a thread sealant. Because the zinc coating resists rust, the elbow also suits outdoor and wet areas. In addition, we stock 90° GI elbows for sharper turns.
Why Choose Our GI Elbow 45 Degree
- Gentle turn: A 45° bend keeps flow smooth and pressure loss low.
- Rust resistant: Hot-dip galvanising protects against water and humidity.
- Tight seal: Taper BSP threads seal well with tape or paste.
- Matches our range: In addition, it fits our GI nipples, unions and tees.
